My young daughter and I needed private lessons for safety, getting comfortable with shooting, and the basics – Sandy was great! She was patient, encouraging and provided helpful tips from gun handling, recoil, dealing with jams to future gun purchases. I have had some experience shooting a gun, but my daughter didn’t. She was very nervous (even some tears), and Sandy helped her overcome it. Now, all she keeps asking me is when can we go to the range? I’d like to add that my daughter did way better than me when hitting the target. We are ready to venture confidently into a shooting range for practice – yay!

After my lesson with Sandy, I walked away feeling that I had a much greater understanding of firearm safety, the actual mechanics of how firearms work, the biggest factors in improving my accuracy and safety and some techniques to help me practice at home. I walked in with zero experience and knowledge of pistols. I love the fact that she had me try out different sizes so I could get a feel for what I might want to purchase in the future. I’m a total newbie and I felt completely in capable hands with her. She was professional, knowledgeable, and followed procedures to a T. She was also very personable and easy to talk to. I especially loved the way she explained things. It was very clear, concise, linear and the perfect amount of detail for me to learn what I needed to learn. Questions were welcomed and answered completely and clearly. I would take another lesson in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
